Intel’s chief commercial officer and sales lead, Christoph Schell, resigns

Intel has announced that its EVP and chief commercial officer, Christoph Schell, will be leaving the company after two years in the position. According to a recent SEC filing available here, Schell informed Intel this past Monday that he will step down on June 30 to explore a new career opportunity.

Transition in Leadership

At this time, it is not clear who will permanently succeed Schell. During the interim period, Greg Ernst, the current CVP of Intel’s sales and marketing division, will assume the leadership responsibilities. This move is expected to help maintain stability as Intel navigates this transition.

Celebrating Schell’s Contributions

During his tenure, Christoph Schell played a key role in strengthening Intel’s relationships with its customers by overseeing sales, marketing, and communications. Prior to joining Intel in February 2022, he held influential positions at companies such as HP, Philips, and Procter & Gamble. A spokesperson for Intel expressed gratitude for his tireless efforts and wished him well in his future endeavors.
